Sally is a collage artist with a particular interest in textiles and printmaking. She uses a combination of various techniques including fabric dyeing, machine and hand embroidery, etching, lino and wood cut printing.

She has a Diploma of Studio Stitch/Textiles and a Diploma of Visual Arts from Box Hill TAFE as well as being a qualified primary and TAFE teacher.

She has been exhibiting in group exhibitions for 12 years.

Her first solo exhibition, ‘Mapping Memories’ was held in 2005 and her second solo exhibition, “In My Father’s Shoes” was in April 2007.

After spending 9 years working as an Artist in Schools along with a variety of teaching jobs she has taken on a more permanent position teaching primary art at St Andrews Christian College teacher as well as continuing at both Grimwade House and teaching textile art at Box Hill TAFE.

She has work in private collections both here and overseas.

She is married with three teenage children. Creating art is a passion and need for Sally and time in her home studio is juggled around her family and other commitments.
